I planned on getting one of the new superwide 34″ monitors but I guess I’m going 27″ triples. Win-win for me.

This? This is something I’ve been dreaming of. A proper orbital audio system, for a fixed desk setup. Full 5.1, without having to come up with some unstable rig. Beautiful, delightful and amazing. Downright delicious, even.

My dream is to have this whole setup, with a flight or space sim and the Oculus Rift. Total immersion, and I can’t wait.

Europe – available for pre-order, should arrive in EU in appx 35-45 days
      NZ/Oz – 30 days
Persian Gulf Countries – 45’ish days
      SE Asia – unknown
USA – available for pre-order, should arrive in appx 30 days

      Hey Robert,

I’m really a headset guy when it comes to any gaming so I’m a bit useless giving advice on speakers hehe!

With that said, any standard 5.1 setup will fit as we provide hook & loop material to attach speakers to the mounts. I’d stay clear of uber high end speakers that are very large. If you go that route you could mod some base plates and make it work but in my opinion stick to 7.1 headsets or the more standard 5.1 speakers like the Logitech Z906.

      Hope this helps man 😉

Damn, my monitor is too big, it’s 30″. Is there any way to further expand the arms? In a couple of years, 4K monitors will be more common and sizes of 30-32″ are more than possible for that resolution.

      Hey bro,

Wellllll, it could fit a 30″ monitor but it would be easy to mod as you would just need to get some 3mm steel bar (NOT stainless) and cut down upto 10cm lengths to act as “spacers”. Speaking of that we may start to include these. Problem was the cost of mfg’ing was already so high we balked, but if there are enough peeps in need then we’ll consider. ”

In the meantime, modding it is quite easy but if you have any questions gimme a shout via email man, and we can discuss it further.

      Best regards,
      Chris

Hey Zoe, all of the mounting brackets are the same for the front, so instead of attaching the side brackets horizontally, you would attach 1ea per side monitor vertically just like the centre monitor/centre speaker 🙂

      Hey Rickard,

Sorry we don’t have any downloadable manuals for the speaker mounts but some instructions are included. Re the cupholder & articulating keyboard/mouse tray please see our r3v assembly vids as they are covered 😉

      Best regards,
      Chris

    Hey Chris,

I will be initially utilizing a 42″ LCD any idea if this would be able to mount to that at all? I plan on getting it for at least the rear mounts for the chair and if I have to, get the desk attachment as well as the articulating arms, but would prefer mounting to the screen.

    Thanks!

Hey Chris, sorry for missing this but it’s been quite busy around here since the holidays wheeew!

Anyhow, our 5.1 Speaker Mounts (front) can work with a 42″ LCD if you fab an adapter to lengthen the arms. An easy job with some Aluminium or Steel bar, just drill a few holes and you’re gravy. Alternatively, we can hook you up with an extra arm direct from Beijing, but be wary as the shipping is appx USD30.

Thanks for your time & patience man 😉

      Best regards,
      Chris
