Ok so after approximately 6 weeks of waiting my R3V finally arrived two days ago. Wow was there a lot of parts lol. Chris I gotta say great job on updating the packaging and such since when you first started shipping these last year. From all the reviews I had read and even your assembly videos I could tell some things were different. The extra padding on the end of the flanges so they don’t bend was a good idea. I don’t have any bent parts, no rust and none of the powder coating was scratched on any of the parts.
My only gripe and it is very small was there wasn’t a bolt/screw breakdown(legend) included with the instructions so I had to measure the bolts to make sure I was using the correct ones. However the build went without a hitch. Not a single hang up, not even with the triple monitor mounts so I was extremely happy with that. One suggestion I would make, I love the neoprene covers for the keyboard tray, pedal tray, and the center spline deck. I think it would be great if you guys also included one for the shifter plate, in fact is there anyway to get a hold of some that stuff so I could cut a square section? One thing I like to do is when I play a FPS I will use the shifter plate under the keyboard tray for added support, however since its metal on metal it’s starting to get a few small scratches on it. No biggie I might try and find my own solution locally. Just a thought…
Oh yeah and great job on the videos they helped out tremendously during the build. I’ll put some pics up once I get a chance
