Hey,
I’m just a regular gamer looking for a sweet setup where I can sort of lay back a little. Kind of like this: http://www.topblogposts.com/files/2008/07/zero-gee-ergonomic-computer-gaming-work-station/2.jpg
The problem I found (apart from the fact that every company seems to call such a setup differently, making it difficult to search for), is that an unassuming chair + mount combo seems to be typically priced at about $2.5 – 5k, which is just a crazy amount of money. Then I came across your product and it looks like I can sort of do what I want, except that the seat itself doesn’t tilt. So I was wondering if it’s viable to just tilt the entire setup of the ozone, say 20 degrees, or if that makes it unstable / makes things shift due to gravity, etc.
Otherwise, is it possible to tilt the chair of the r3volution model (I understand the screens and keyboard mounts are tiltable in the r3volution one, but I can’t tell from the pictures if the chair is attached to the monitor frame, or if it is perhaps adjustable along the front legs of that frame)? I really want to make this work, (and it seems like there would be a good market for an affordable setup like this, wouldn’t even need an authentic race car seat or steering wheel or other gaming mounts).
Has anyone else tried this? I understand that this is a weird position for racing / flying sims, but maybe some of the people that bought it as an ergonomic workstation have used it like this?
TL,DR: can I prop up the front of (the chair of) one of these models to be in a more reclined position, or will that be unstable / uncomfortable / impossible.
