I found my way to Obutto’s site and after searching for a new chair and desk set up. Have to say I’m blown away by the cockpits on offer, just having trouble deciding whats best for me.
So I have a some questions I’m hoping can answered by anyone really…
1) On the Ozone, whats the wobble in the monitor stand like, assuming a 3 monitor setup with 24 inch monitors? I notice the stand is attached to the main frame, and so must experience some? I’m currently using Acer S240HLbid 24” Full HD widescreen LCD monitor.
2) Would the monitor stand of the Revolution fit around the Ozone base?
3) I’m 172 cm tall (5ft 7″), and like to sit so my face is within 65-75 cm of my central monitor. Is this possible on either the Ozone or Revolution using the triple monitor stands?
4) Has anyone tried using the Ozone acrylic table top on the Revolution base/wheel plate?
5) If I was to attach an Ozone acrylic table top to the Revolution base/wheel plate, how could I go about adding additional support?
6) In terms of a comparison between the Ozone table top and the Revolution table tops, what do people prefer and why?
7) Will the UK website ever get up and running again? I notice there was free UK delivery on the UK site. I’m certain that ordering from EU would incur a delivery charge, which could be enough to determine I choose the the Ozone over the Revolution or a hybrid of the two, as there’s a big price difference between them.
8) Are there any plans for a new version of the cockpit on the horizon? Is it worth waiting for any details before considering a purchase of the Ozone or Revolution? As far as I can make out, the Revolution is a few years old now…
I’m hoping some answers to the above questions will help me decide. I’m like 95% certain Ill be ordering an Obutto but not certain which one is right for me yet.
I’d also like to say that the response time from Tiago Pereira from the EU branch has been outstanding, I think less than 12 hrs from question to response for each of the three questions I have asked him so far. The only reason I’m posting here tonight rather than asking Tiago directly, is that I’m also looking for some feedback from actual customers as well as Obutto representatives.
