Concern before buying an Obutto R3volution

I have heard nothing but good stuff about the R3v, with the exception of the seat. I’ve heard more than a few people complain about seat failures. The good news is my distributor or Obutto has been quick to replace them from all reports I’ve seen. My concern is that I’d rather it not have to come to that. I am just curious if the design has been changed, or a new seat supplier found? This is the only thing keeping me from ordering at this point. The people reporting this were average size, 180-200lbs.
