Question about articulating keyboard tray

I have a question regarding the Articulating Keyboard Tray accessory. I dislike the standard tray from the Ozone, because I have to push the tray onto the arm so that it would clear the front posts when positioning it over my lap, and then I have to push the tray off of the arm so that it would be a comfortable distance away. It looks like the articulating arm would remedy this. However my other issue is that the standard tray does not swing out completely to the rear so that you can enter the cockpit from the side the tray is on. Will the upgraded keyboard tray allow that?
Here is a picture of where I want to be able to swing the tray:
I basically want to be able to swing it backwards, get into my cockpit, swing it forward to type/game/etc., then swing it back to exit the cockpit. My keyboard is mounted on the left side, and the right side is blocked by a wall. Right now I have to be gymnast to get into the seat.
