First off, I love my new R3volution. Assembly was a lot easier than I expected after reading other forums and whatnot. I have a Fanatec CSW and to get my monitors (triple 24′ 120hz 3D FTW muwhahah) close enough they have to go over the CSW base. To do that I have the triple monitor stand at it’s highest setting. Even though I’m a tall dude, like this the wheel and monitors feel a tick too high. For driving in iRacing I can deal with it since I can shift [ to raise or lower my FOV. When I get comfortable and slouch a little while web browsing or watch ‘videos’ the monitors are too high. It feels like I’m looking up instead of out.
It’s not a big deal but I was wondering if anyone has raised their seat? I was thinking about just getting some square tubing to go under the seat mounts to give me more height. Does anyone forsee any problems with doing this?
