I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for such an awesome product! I really wanted a cockpit for sim-racing but was having a hard time justifying the costs. My R3V is amazing!… It’s a full desk replacement…awesome cockpit!…awesome work station!
If anyone is researching these and you are having trouble pulling the trigger like I was…just do it! You will not regret it one bit. Plus you get to support people who dare to dream…then build it for us…lol.
The triple monitor brackets did get me though, and no I did not go through the instruction first. But once I noticed I had monitor sag I went back and reviewed that video. I realized I bottomed out the top screw then tightened the bottom. They actually felt pretty good…but after hanging the 27″
LG’s off there…I had issues. I pulled the monitors off, loosened the screws and centered the bushing. This time (and this is just as important as centering the pin in the flanges) I lifted the arm and tightened the screws at the same time as recommended in the video. Double and triple checking that the bushing remained in both flanges. I also used a ratchet and longer Allen wrench to allow more leverage to tighten properly. Re-hung the monitors, backed out my height adjustment screw on the vesa bracket and wow…raised it a .75 inches…perfect now!
So…totally awesome product, very well thought out, and I’m more than happy…I’m fricken stoked!!!
