I am excited about throwing my desk out the door and getting the R3volution. Desks are something we were taught to sit at for computing and learning…I am happy to learn the NEW/BETTER way of working and computing!
Equally exciting is figuring out how to configure my cockpit. While I am plan to use it as a work space, I will mostly be playing Arma 3 which a flight sim/FPS title. With gaming being my first and foremost use, I am leaning towards 27in surround monitors at the moment. During my search I have come across some 34in Ultra-wide (21:9) monitors some flat and others curved. I wondered how this might feel on the Obutto. Can you provide any insights, Chris?
Also, just an FYI, I am aware of refresh rates, gsync, IPS vs TNT, etc. I have already settled on getting a monitor with gsync and 144hz knowing that it is not available in a 34in Ultra-wide yet. So it would be something I would wait for, assuming it would make for a better setup than a 3 x 27in surround.
