The r3v tabletops (2ea) provide an uber functional desk space! Instead of just a flat desk, our smoked acrylic tabletops are attached to VESA mounting plates on fully articulating arms. They rotate, tilt, and the acrylic can be left off for mounting additional displays. Desk space has never been so good!
Typical uses of the tabletops include a nice space for a laptop, tablet, paperwork, food, keys, phone, and other items. From our sole use of both of our cockpits for the past 12yrs we find the tabletops uber useful and always recommend them.

I bought my r3v years ago, and didn’t get the tabletops at the time.
This is a decision that I recently rectified. The installation was straight forward and fairly simple. The result has been worth every penny and pain. The table tops themselves are very sturdy. They support my desktop replacement notebook with no issue, and the hold the angle that I set them to all day.
The utility is also as outstanding as I have come to expect from Obutto. I was able to use them as an additional work surface next to my bench because of the reach of the arms. Without the monitor stand obstructing the motion they will meet and form a flat surface both over the seat and the pedal cage.
Since they are made from the same material and with the same high production standards I expect them to last.
As a bonus they look sharp.
